Our Mission

“The sea, once it casts its spell, holds one in its net of wonder forever”
– Jacque Cousteau

If you've ever had the chance to dive beneath the surface of the ocean, then you'll have a greater understanding of why it’s so important that we protect all it has to offer. The ocean and the life residing within it is essential to our eco system but with the threat of global warming and plastic pollution (just to name a few) it needs our help to protect it and prevent further damage.

It's important to us to do our bit for the ocean, so we're donating a total of 10% of our profits to two amazing organisations that are doing great things for the ocean right now.

The Marine Mammal Care Center

We are partnered with the Marine Mammal Care Center in Los Angeles, CA.
A non-profit hospital for seals and sea lions and the only 24/7/365 safe haven
for these animals throughout all 70 miles of coastline in Los Angeles County.

They have provided incredible care for marine mammals in need since 1992,
with the goal of rehabilitating and releasing them back to their ocean home.
Many of their patients enter their hospital due to littering, fishing line
entanglement, and malnourishment. Marine Mammal Care Center is one
of the busiest in the country but with thanks to donations and their 150+
volunteers working around the clock they have treated 8,000+ animals.

We can see the great work they have been doing to rehabilitate and realise
these animals with a goal of educating people along the way. This is
why we are donating 5% of our profits to their cause… We are so
proud to be supporting them and their amazing work!

The Ocean's Plastic Pollution Crisis

Seeing washed up plastic on our beaches is becoming more and more common,
but when you take an even closer look there is often micro plastic everywhere!

According to a 2019 National Geographic article "Every year, about
8 million tons of plastic waste escapes into the oceans from coastal
nations. That’s the equivalent of setting five garbage bags full of trash
on every foot of coastline around the world".

This is a staggering amount of plastic to be entering the oceans, and sadly
we're starting to see an increase of cases of marine life being injured and killed
from accidentally ingesting or becoming entangled in the pollution...

Plastic first started popping up around 100 years ago but it was only in the
1960's that it became widely used. Plastic usually takes hundreds of years
to break down... so the reality of this is that every single piece of plastic
ever produced still exists today.

It's still unclear how much plastic is in the
ocean however it has appeared in some of the most remote and deep
parts of the oceans seabed.

We want to help save the ocean from this huge problem and are donating
5% of our profits to pulling plastic out of the ocean... Let's be the change we
want to see in the world.
